Belvidere Council #735, Knights in Action, Aid for Lenny Schachtner

As some of you already know, Sir Knight Lenny Schachtner is fighting a battle with cancer for the second time in his life. Lenny has been active in the order at the council, diocesan, and state levels for many years. When hearing of this, some of his many friends decided to help where they could. Grand Knight Joe Tracey organized a team to build a ramp at Lenny's dad's home so when Lenny comes home, it will be easier for him. Also, a group of knights washed / winterized Lenny and Sue's 5th wheel camper (their home) for them. The council held a benefit dinner on Nov 10 for Lenny at St. James Parish.
