Illinois Knights of Columbus,

As this year year draws to a close, as we continue to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the founding of our Order, and as we welcome new members to the Knights of Columbus, let us each extend our deep gratitude to all brother Knights and their families who have labored so generously and diligently to serve the myriad needs of our Church, community, councils, youth and families during this past year. Their efforts contribute mightily to the vision of our founder, Fr. Michael J. McGivney.
Ina and I wish you and your families abundant blessings during this holiday season, and especially this Christmas. In this great season of hope, let us thank our clergy for their vocation and continue to pray for the gift of peace for ourselves, our families, our communities, and our world. May you continue to find God in all things this Christmas season and in 2008.
