State Free Throw Final Competition at Chatham Glenwood High School

Regional winners go to Chatham-Glenwood H.S. on Saturday 04/05/08. Doors open at 9 and competition starts at 9:30. The school is located in Chatham, Illinois which is South of Springfield. Take Exit 88 off I-55 (at end of exit ramp go right coming from the North-Springfield and left if coming from the South-St. Louis). Travel 1.0 miles on Old Route 66 turn right on Chathm Rd 1.0 mile until this turns into Walnut St. After curving around Lake Springfield turn right onto Gordon Dr and after .8 mile turn left at Plummer. At this point you will see the high school parking lot.

If you are coming from Interstate 72 to Route 4, take exit 93 and turn right if you are coming from the west and left if you are coming from the east. Travel on Route 4 heading to Chatham. Go 3.7 miles to Plummer and turn left. Now travel .8 miles to the high school. Turn into the parking lot at the stop light.

For restaurants in the area people can go to Route 4 and take a left going to the heart of Chatham to find McDonalds, Hardees and the Alamo. Going right on Route 4 will take them back to Springfield where they can find just about any kind of food they want. The retail mall and all the chain restaurants are present. See the map below on how to get to Route 4 from the high school. The southwest end of Springfield is only about 4-5 miles form the high school.
